Sharjah24: Within the framework of the participation of the Sharjah Education Council (SEC) during the 12th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) which is currently being held at the Sharjah Expo Center, the Council continued its activities for children, aiming to support the development of the children's scientific, cognitive and awareness capabilities.
The Council organises a workshop in puppet theater and another on first aid for children.
During a workshop on the first aid for children, several children and their families learnt about simple first aid skills to raise their confidence in helping in emergencies and various critical situations. The attendees also were briefed on practical ways on dealing with children who are injured in accidents, coma, drowning, burns, fractures, wounds, poisoning, electric shocks, suffocation and other matters.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, Secretary General of Sharjah Education Council shed light on the importance of the workshops presented by the Council at the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, which coincide with the cultural event’s various activities, contributing in enriching various necessary skills for children.
