Sharjah 24: Sharjah Education Council (SEC) unveiled the completion of its preparation to participate with a special pavilion within the proceedings of the 12th edition of Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF).
The Council will contribute with a host of participants and exhibitors to support the child's scientific and cognitive preferences.
The pavilion will be a platform to promote the Council objectives, and to reflect Sharjah interest in early childhood and kindergarten stages. Moreover, the Council’s initiatives and programmes will be in the spotlight for all SCRF visitors, who will be introduced to SEC childcare publications and the programmes.
His Excellency Dr. Saeed Musabbah Al Kaabi, Chairman of Sharjah Education Council (SEC), stated that the Council is proud to participate in the 12th SCRF, which is the fruit of a joint effort with Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) to be a gateway towards a better future for the child, especially while recovering from the pandemic.
Al Kaabi explained that the SEC pavilion reflects the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming at working for the child, providing all means of support, building an integrated personality and providing various educational, recreational and social programmes for children.
The 12th edition of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF) will be held from May 19 to 29 at Expo Centre Sharjah, in strict adherence to all COVID-19 measures.
