Sharjah 24: Amer Mohammed Obaid, Endowment Projects Official in the Sharjah Awqaf Department, confirmed that the department launched 17 charitable projects, including 7 major projects and 10 that fall under the Charitable Endowment Project.

Amer Mohammed Obaid indicated that these projects could be accessed through electronic donation, text messages, or donation at mobile units. This comes in the aim of making it easier for members of the community to donate.

Amer Muhammad Obaid stated that the mobile unit is one of the initiatives of the Sharjah Awqaf Department, which is present in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, including various community activities and events.

In exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, he maintained that the aim of the mobile unit project is to spread the concept of endowment among members of the community, where the distribution of awareness leaflets and brochures are carried out to those present, with the aim of introducing them to the concept of endowment.

He added that the mobile unit is a vehicle equipped with an office and an employee who receives donations through an electronic system as a substitute for papers and coupons that were previously distributed, in order to preserve their health and safety.
