Sharjah 24: Hawra Al Ajami, karate player at Sharjah Women's Sports Club, is getting ready for an international leap in her career, in the current season, by increasing her workouts’ intensity, just after the end of the season of the Karate Championship Cup of His Highness Head of State took place in Khorfakkan.
The UAE Karate Federation invited Al Ajami to join the national team, to participate in a number of major international tournaments, including the next Olympics Karate Qualification Tournament.
Hawra Al Ajami expressed optimism about the coming period, saying that there is a number of international tournaments, in which the Club can participate, and most notably, Dubai, that will host the Dubai Karate World Championships next November.
Al Ajami said that Dubai Karate World Championships is an event that worth preparing for. She added that Sharjah Women's Sports Club, in cooperation with the UAE Karate Federation headed by Major General Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al-Razooqi, are exerting great efforts to step up the game.
Hawra spoke about her recent participation in the Portuguese championship, which was an opportunity for more exposure. She added that other tournaments will be held throughout the season, which will put the Club on the calendar participate in tournaments, confirming that it is not impossible to be present in the next Olympics.
