Sharjah 24: Stemming from its keenness to ensure security and safety throughout the emirate, the Sharjah Police announced the intensification of its preparations and the readiness of its personnel to receive the 27th and 29th nights of the holy month of Ramadan, and Eid Al Fitr holiday.
This came during the meeting, which was held through the visual communication, chaired by Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, in the presence of Brigadier General Aref bin Hadeeb, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, Colonel Dr. Ali Bu Alzoud, Deputy Director General of Central Operations, and a number of department directors and specialists in Sharjah Police.
The meeting reviewed the comprehensive security and traffic plans that were prepared for the night of the 27th and 29th of Ramadan and the Eid Al Fitr holiday by the competent departments. The meeting also revealed the intensification of security and traffic patrols and the deployment of 300 military and civilian patrols in all areas and main streets within the city of Sharjah, the Eastern and the Central Regions to regulate traffic with the aim of maintaining traffic smooth flow and observing order in general.
During the meeting, Sharjah Police called on members of the public to adhere to and abide by all precautionary and preventive measures that ensure the preservation of public health and safety, as well as cooperation with police agencies in strengthening public security. Moreover, the meeting called on drivers to adhere to traffic laws and the stressed the need to follow all directions issued by the competent authorities to ensure public safety.
