Sharjah 24: Tasnim Badr Jani, a language teacher at the Arabic Tongue Centre of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, confirmed that more than 100 students from different countries of the world have graduated from the Centre since its inauguration in 2018.
Jani added that the Centre was opened under the umbrella of the Arabic Language Academy with the generous support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

In her exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Jani added that the Centre aims to teach Arabic language for non-native speakers living in the UAE.

She indicated that the Centre embodies Sharjah’s vision to advance the Arabic language and emphasise its pivotal role in achieving the emirate’s cultural and civilisational project.

Jani explained that the current sixth course includes 17 male and female students divided into three levels, the first in which the students learn letters and word formation and articulation, while in the second level, the students are trained to form a complete sentence and simple dialogue with other students. The third level, students learn language grammar.
