Sharjah24: On the occasion of Martyr’s Day which falls on 30 of November every year, Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI), stated that the Emirati have written with their blood and pure souls all deep meanings of loyalty and sacrifices in order to remain the nation’s flag high.
Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi highlighted that the people of the UAE remember the sacrifices of the heroes and their great role in preserving the security and the stability in the country, underscoring the meanings of pure values which the UAE’s founding father the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan cultivated in the spirit of the UAE’s people to spending precious possession in order to preserve the country’s security.
Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi added that history will never forget the sacrifices of our brave soldiers to defend the soil of the country , underling the first Emirati sacrifice made by the heroic young martyr Salem Suhail Khamis in 1971.
