Sharjah 24: Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Director of Kalba Municipality, confirmed that the municipality has succeeded in achieving all its strategic goals during the past three months, despite the outbreak of the coronavirus, indicating that 30% of the employees have returned to work at the municipality headquarters as per the government’s instructions of the gradual return to work.
In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Al Naqbi explained that the municipality had prepared in advance for the return of employees to their offices through a package of precautionary and preventive measures in order to ensure the safety of both employees and clients.
On the work mechanism, Al Naqbi indicated that the municipality has seen a huge boom during the last stage in the smart transformation, and the remote completion of clients’ transactions and applications, which enabled it to achieve about 100% of its strategic goals during the past 3 months, which coincided with the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The Director of Kalba Municipality noted to the merger between the two systems of office work and teleworking during the current stage to process customers’ transactions, in addition to the continuation and strengthening of fieldwork in terms of the supervisory and executive aspects of the various municipal departments to preserve the city's gains and improve its cultural appearance.
