SSEF receives 500 laptops from Khalifa Foundation to help orphans

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) received a donation of 500 laptops from the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation as part of the "allama bilQalam" project. The donation supports the educational journey of the foundation's children and enhances their access to modern digital learning tools.

The donation will be used to further the educational journey of the foundation's children. It was presented in the presence of His Excellency Professor Mohammed Haji Al Khouri, Vice Chairman of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, as part of ongoing cooperation and support for initiatives that help meet students' educational needs and enhance their ability to continue their academic journey.

During the meeting, the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation delegation was briefed on the achievements of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation and its mission to serve and empower orphaned children and their families. They were also introduced to the most prominent services, programmes, and projects implemented by the Foundation within an integrated system of empowerment initiatives. These initiatives aim to meet the needs of children and their families, support their stability, and develop their capabilities in various aspects of life.

This support forms part of the “allama bilQalam” project, implemented by the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation within the framework of academic empowerment programmes, specifically the programme to provide digital learning devices, which aims to equip children with the necessary technological tools for learning and to facilitate their access to digital educational platforms and resources, in line with the requirements of the modern educational process.

Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi: Support that enhances children's educational opportunities

Her Excellency Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, stated: “We appreciate this generous support from the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation, which embodies the value of partnership and integration in supporting children’s education and empowering them academically. Laptops are an essential educational tool that facilitates their educational journey. This gives them broader opportunities to access digital knowledge and learning resources.”

She added: Through the “allama bilQalam” project, we are keen to provide a support system that responds to the educational needs of our children, based on our belief that education is one of the most important paths to empowerment and to building the future. This donation contributes to our efforts to provide a supportive learning environment that helps students continue their academic pursuits, motivates them to excel, and helps them achieve their aspirations.
