Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) has launched its 2026 Summer Programme, featuring a diverse range of social, psychological, academic, health, and vocational initiatives as part of a comprehensive plan designed to make meaningful use of the summer break by developing the abilities of its orphan beneficiaries, enhancing their skills, and instilling positive values that contribute to building their character and preparing them for different stages of life.

The programme reflects the Foundation's annual commitment to transforming free time into opportunities for learning and personal growth through interactive activities and hands-on experiences that cater to different age groups. These initiatives aim to strengthen personal and social skills, boost self-confidence, and develop communication and teamwork abilities, in line with the Foundation's mission of achieving sustainable empowerment for orphans and their families.

Among the key initiatives is the "Sanad Al Bait" (Home Support) programme, one of the Foundation's flagship social programmes during the summer season. It provides an interactive platform that reinforces the role of children as active partners in strengthening family stability through specialised activities for both guardians and children. The programme focuses on developing leadership and social skills, strengthening family relationships, and offering vocational experiences and field activities that foster self-reliance while encouraging responsibility and initiative among young men and women.

The summer plan also includes specialised programmes focusing on mental health and social well-being, academic preparation for the upcoming school year, vocational and creative skills development, as well as health initiatives and preventive medical screenings, reflecting the Foundation's commitment to delivering integrated developmental programmes that address the diverse needs of its beneficiaries.

Her Excellency Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, affirmed that the summer programme embodies the Foundation's vision of making the most of the summer break in ways that benefit both children and their families by offering meaningful experiences that combine learning, practical engagement, and purposeful recreation.

Her Excellency said: "We believe that the summer break presents a valuable opportunity to discover children's potential and nurture their talents in a safe and inspiring environment. This is why we are committed each year to designing programmes that support our strategic empowerment goals, contribute to building confident personalities, strengthen life skills, and prepare our beneficiaries for a brighter future."

She added that the Foundation continues to enhance its programmes in line with the evolving needs of its beneficiaries and their families, driven by its mission to achieve comprehensive empowerment and improve the quality of life of orphans and their families through sustainable developmental initiatives that accompany them throughout different stages of their lives.

Through these programmes, the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation continues to reinforce its commitment to providing a supportive environment for learning and development, enabling beneficiaries to make productive use of their summer break while enhancing their readiness for the future, in line with the Foundation's mission of empowering them to build more confident and stable lives.
