Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation continued its efforts to promote a culture of sustainable endowments and raise awareness of the "Prophet's Neigbours" endowment initiative through a series of community engagements.

These initiatives aimed to highlight the impact of endowments, introduce their various forms, and provide opportunities for individuals and institutions to contribute to supporting them.

Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club and Sharjah International Airport hosted the "Prophet's Neigbours" endowment store, where visitors viewed a range of products inspired by the endowment's identity and symbols. The proceeds from these products support programmes for the empowerment of orphans and their families, and the store also provided information about the endowment's mission and objectives.

The Sharjah Fish Resources Authority also hosted the foundation as part of an introductory event dedicated to introducing the "Prophet's Neigbours" endowment and its various endowment packages, highlighting its role in establishing the concept of sustainable giving and encouraging community members to contribute to creating a lasting impact for generations to come.

The event also aimed to raise awareness about the endowment's role in fostering a culture of sustainable giving and encouraging community members to contribute to creating a lasting legacy. The Waqf Foundation also had a presence at the Police Sports and Shooting Club's summer exhibition in the Emirate of Ajman, where it presented its mission and provided visitors with an overview of the foundation and its store's products, as part of its ongoing efforts to raise community awareness about Waqf and its developmental impact.

The foundation showcased its mission and provided visitors with an overview of Waqf and its products, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote community awareness of Waqf and its developmental impact.

Her Excellency Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, said: “The remarkable interest shown by various entities in hosting "Prophet's Neigbours" endowment, and the great interaction we are witnessing from employees, individuals, and different age groups, reflects the growing level of community awareness of the importance of endowments and their role in creating a sustainable impact confirms the success of the message with which endowments were launched by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah to establish the culture of endowment as a deeply rooted human and societal value.

She added: “Through these participations, we aim to broaden awareness of the endowment’s mission and its packages, and to highlight the products of its store as a means of supporting this endowment project, in addition to building community partnerships that enhance participation in sustaining its impact, thus contributing to supporting programmes that empower orphans and their families.”

These participations come within the framework of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation’s strategy aimed at expanding awareness of the "Prophet's Neigbours" endowment and enhancing its presence in various community entities and events, in a way that contributes to consolidating the values of giving and sustainable endowment. It strengthens community partnerships in supporting member empowerment programmes.
