Education key to sustainable empowerment

Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) , stated that the cooperation with Al Qasimia University demonstrates the importance of institutional partnerships in achieving sustainable empowerment for orphans.

She noted that education is one of the main pillars of the Foundation’s empowerment framework, given its direct role in developing young people’s capabilities and improving their prospects for future independence and stability.

She stressed that cooperation with educational institutions plays an important role in supporting the academic journeys of children who have lost their fathers by providing educational opportunities that help them continue their studies, develop their abilities and build their futures.

This cooperation also supports the objectives of the “Allama Bil Qalam” project implemented by the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, which provides an integrated package of academic empowerment services and programmes. The initiative strengthens cooperation between community institutions in creating a stimulating educational environment that enables young people to continue their education and pursue their ambitions.
