The meeting took place on Thursday morning, 10-9-2026, at the Child and Family Protection Centre, affiliated with Sharjah's Social Services Department. The delegation was received by Zahra Al Mazmi, Media Coordinator for the Award, and Sheikha Al Serkal, Coordinator of Community Engagement and Awareness. The Central Finance Department's Corporate Development section was represented by Aisha Al Ketbi, administrative expert, and Amna Al Owais, administrative coordinator.
During the meeting, the award's team walked the delegation through its experience running and organising successive editions, including the institutional methodologies applied at every stage of the process — from preparing and updating regulatory guides to evaluation standards and tools and how they are applied, through to the organisational and logistical procedures accompanying each edition.
The delegation was briefed on how the award's guides are prepared and updated to keep pace with operational requirements, helping to organise stages and procedures and define roles and responsibilities. They also reviewed the evaluation tools and mechanisms used, which help reinforce clarity and consistency in procedures and uphold principles of transparency and precision in assessing entries.
The meeting also covered how the organisational and logistical aspects of each award cycle are managed, from launch and the receipt of entries, through sorting and evaluation and completing related procedures, to preparations for the honouring ceremony — reflecting the coordination between the teams involved at every stage.
The meeting forms part of broader efforts to support the exchange of expertise and institutional best practice among government entities in Sharjah, drawing on successful experiences through benchmarking to help develop procedures, raise performance efficiency, and promote a culture of institutional learning and knowledge-sharing.
