Sharjah 24: The UAE Cycling Federation has announced the donation of 100 bicycles to clubs across the country, alongside the signing of five memoranda of understanding and partnership agreements aimed at supporting the federation's goals, backing the national teams, and scouting talent to build the next generation of champions.

A strategic partnership

The federation confirmed a strategic partnership with EB Investment, alongside the signing of five separate memoranda of understanding and the bicycle donation to national clubs.

The five agreements were signed with DermaMed Clinic, represented by its founder Dr Anwar Al Hammadi; VT&K Consulting, represented by chairman Vazgen Tariverdiyev; Aqua Carpatica UAE, represented by Dr Hassan Miqdad; The Mister Holding Group, represented by chairman Mohammed Al Maghoudi; and The Top Group, represented by founding partner and CEO Raghid Al Tahhan.

Announced at a Dubai press conference

The announcements were made at a press conference held on the evening of the previous day at the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai, attended by Dr Yasser Al Dokhi, President of the Arab Cycling Federation. The event also saw the formal signing of the EB Investment partnership agreement between Engineer Mansour Juma Bu Osaiba, President of the UAE Cycling Federation, and Dr Butti Jassim Saeed Abdullah Al Marri, Founder and Chairman of EB Investment.

A model for sport-private sector cooperation

Bu Osaiba described the partnership as a model of cooperation between the sporting and private sectors, one that serves the federation's ambitions to develop cycling as a sport, support the national teams and clubs, and provide riders—men and women alike—with a better environment in which to achieve further success, discover new talent, and build the champions of the future.

Honorary roles announced

The conference also saw Dr Butti Jassim Saeed Abdullah Al Marri named Honorary President of the UAE Cycling Federation, with Dr Anwar Al Hammadi granted honorary membership of the federation.
