Al Qutaina 3 will comprise 428 homes once complete, comfortably surpassing Al Qutaina 1, which delivered 362 units. Speaking to Sharjah24, Al Hadari said the complex is still under construction and that the developer expects to hand it over next year.
The department is also building four twin residential buildings in Dibba Al Hisn, containing 124 housing units between them. It's one of several residential developments currently in progress across the emirate's cities, Al Hadari noted.
Al Hadari pointed to the projects as an extension of directions set by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide dignified housing for citizens. The Department of Housing's own plan, he said, centres on building homes that are both modern and sustainable, while ensuring that the quality of life in existing complexes does not slip.
