Sharjah24: Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, accompanied by Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah International Airport Authority, inspected the workflow at the Ports and Airports Department.

The visit was attended by Major General Dr Ali Ahmed Balzoud, Director-General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services; Major General Omar Ahmed Balzoud, Director-General of the General Department of Criminal Security and Ports; and Brigadier Mattar bin Dikhan, Director of the Ports and Airports Department at Sharjah Police.

During the inspection tour, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police reviewed the department's operational readiness and the mechanisms for delivering security services to travellers. He also met with employees and listened to their views and development proposals as part of ongoing efforts to support continuous improvement, enhance the work environment, raise institutional performance efficiency, strengthen the quality of security services, reinforce the readiness of the policing system, and improve the overall travel experience. 

New airport police uniform unveiled

As part of the visit, Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer unveiled the new official uniform for Airport Police personnel. The uniform has been designed in line with modern standards that take into account the nature of work in airport environments, with a focus on practicality and functionality. It is made from high-quality materials that provide comfort and flexibility while performing duties, while preserving the visual identity of Sharjah Police. The new uniform is intended to reinforce a unified professional appearance, enhance staff readiness, and support greater efficiency across various security tasks.
