The initiative reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and Founder of Al Qasimia University, to invest in people and develop scientific and intellectual competencies that can make a positive contribution to their societies.
Designed to support graduates beyond university, the programme equips participants with knowledge and practical skills that enhance their professional and community engagement and encourage them to carry forward the university’s humanitarian and educational mission.
“Welcome Back” features a comprehensive series of seminars, lectures and specialised workshops focused on leadership development, professional readiness, effective communication and cross-cultural interaction, while promoting dialogue, mutual understanding and respect for cultural diversity.
Professor Dr Awad Al Khalaf, Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, said the initiative reflects the university’s commitment to maintaining close ties with its graduates and to providing ongoing support after graduation.
He added that the university regards its alumni as an extension of its civilisational and humanitarian message, noting that its multicultural environment, with students from more than 136 nationalities, helps cultivate young leaders who can build bridges between cultures and promote the UAE’s values of tolerance, openness and peaceful coexistence.
