Officials attend event and observe inmate participation

Brigadier Abdullah Rashid Allay, Director of the Punishment and Correctional Institution Department, along with several officers, attended the gathering and observed the participation of inmates and their families in a warm and family-oriented atmosphere that enhanced feelings of stability and connection.

Brigadier Allay said the initiative reflects Sharjah Police’s commitment to programmes that preserve inmates’ family ties, which are a key pillar in rehabilitation and reintegration into society, while strengthening the humanitarian dimension of correctional work.
