Sharjah Retirees Grants Committee holds its regular meeting

Sharjah24: The Supplementary Grants Committee for Retirees in Sharjah held its regular meeting, chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Human Resources, and Head of the Committee, with its members in attendance.

During the meeting, the Committee reviewed its ongoing projects and completed initiatives within its scope of responsibilities, and discussed mechanisms to enhance efficiency, streamline procedures, and improve service quality.

Meeting highlights

The session emphasised the Committee’s commitment to continually enhancing its operational framework and ensuring all actions adhere to the directives of the Government of Sharjah, which prioritises the well-being and dignity of retirees.

His Excellency Al Zaabi stressed that the Committee stays committed to enhancing support systems for retirees throughout the Emirate and to ensuring that initiatives are designed to effectively and sustainably meet their changing needs.

This meeting reaffirmed the Committee’s role as a crucial body in realising Sharjah’s vision for comprehensive social welfare, improving retirees’ quality of life, and recognising their contributions to the nation’s development.
