Al Muntada Al Islami showcases new publications at SIBF

Al Muntada Al Islami’s participation will include the launch of new publications in Islamic studies, religious knowledge, and intellectual scholarship, along with interactive cultural and dialogue sessions that reflect its mission to promote moderate Islamic thought and strengthen Sharjah’s role as a centre of scientific and cultural enlightenment.

Annual presence reflecting cultural commitment

His Excellency Dr Majid Bushlibi, Secretary-General of Al Muntada Al Islami, highlighted that the Forum’s participation in the Sharjah International Book Fair is a key annual event on its cultural calendar, given the exhibition’s importance in bringing together scholars, thinkers, and readers from around the world.

We aim each year to ensure that Al Muntada Al Islami’s presence remains both active and meaningful,” Bushlibi stated. “Through our specialised publications and dialogue platforms, we seek to promote a balanced religious and intellectual awareness, enriching the cultural landscape in accordance with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who has established knowledge and culture as the foundation for human development and the preservation of identity.

New releases and cultural engagement

Dr Bushlibi revealed that Al Muntada Al Islami will showcase newly released titles for the first time at its pavilion, along with book-signing events for notable works that have attracted attention from readers and researchers. The pavilion will also offer visitors opportunities to engage directly with the Forum’s content, explore its ongoing cultural programmes, and learn about its projects that continue throughout the year.

A specialised team from Al Muntada Al Islami will oversee the pavilion, guiding visitors, presenting publications, and responding to inquiries across various fields of Islamic and intellectual studies.
