SIBF concludes its 44th edition

Sharjah 24: Badr Mohammed Saab, Director of Government Communication at the Sharjah Book Authority, announced the conclusion of the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair, held under the theme "Between You and the Book," from November 5th to 16th.

The fair featured over 2,300 publishing houses from 118 countries worldwide and offered more than 1,200 cultural and entertainment events suitable for all ages.

Expo Centre Sharjah اosts the Fair

The 44th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, organised by the Sharjah Book Authority, concluded successfully at Expo Centre Sharjah.

Cultural impact and support

Badr Mohammed Saab highlighted that the fair included a wide range of events catering to various segments of society, showcasing Sharjah’s growing cultural prominence. The exhibition, he noted, reflects the emirate’s vital role in promoting a culture of reading.

Leadership and oversight

Saab emphasised that the success of the exhibition was made possible thanks to the generous support of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the ongoing oversight of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority.
