Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) is preparing to launch its “Warm Winter 2025” campaign outside the UAE, targeting over 25,000 underprivileged families affected by harsh winter conditions across several Asian and African countries. The initiative is part of the charity’s continuous efforts to improve living conditions for vulnerable communities and reinforce the UAE’s commitment to sustainable humanitarian work.

Aid to reach nine countries

The campaign will deliver winter relief to families in Jordan, Albania, Kosovo, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Niger.

Assistance will include blankets, heaters, winter clothing, food parcels, and heating supplies, along with additional emergency aid to help families facing extreme cold, ensuring warmth, safety, and comfort during the winter season.

Expanding the humanitarian mission

Khalid Hassan Al Ali, Director of Projects and Foreign Aid at Sharjah Charity, said the “Warm Winter” initiative continues the organization’s annual relief efforts worldwide. He noted that preparations are underway through SCI’s regional offices and local partners to ensure rapid and efficient delivery of aid to beneficiaries.

Call for donations and community solidarity

Al Ali urged philanthropists and donors to support the campaign through the charity’s website, which offers flexible donation options including bank transfers, credit cards, and SMS contributions. Donations can also be made in person through smart kiosks located across Sharjah.

He emphasized that the campaign represents a humanitarian message of solidarity from the UAE’s people to families in need worldwide, reflecting the vision of the country’s leadership to make humanitarian work a path toward a warmer, fairer, and more compassionate future.
