Sharjah24: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has confirmed its ongoing efforts to enhance its digital ecosystem, making donations easier, safer, and more accessible for donors. The initiative includes a widespread network of smart screens operating around the clock to accept electronic donations innovatively and securely, protecting donors’ privacy while providing flexible options to support various humanitarian and charitable projects both within and outside the UAE.

Smart screens across key locations

Mohammed Rashid Bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of SCI, emphasised the organisation’s efforts to update donation channels and provide easy accessibility. The smart screen network features 17 screens across 13 key locations in Sharjah, including government buildings, shopping centres, and hospitals, engaging donors in their daily routines.

The locations include Al Siyouh Mall, Wizaro 6, Sharjah International Airport Hall, University Hospital, Burjeel Hospital, NMC Royal Hospital, Zahia Mall, Mega Mall, Sahara Centre, Khor Fakkan Waterfront, Khor Fakkan District Council, Al Subaihiya, and Al Hawami in Khor Fakkan. This extensive coverage allows donors to contribute conveniently at any time and from anywhere without visiting the charity’s main office.

Easy-to-use and secure donation interface

The smart screens feature a user-friendly interface, allowing donors to choose projects such as education, healthcare, mosque construction, water wells, orphan sponsorship, or seasonal contributions to major charitable campaigns. The system uses the highest standards of electronic payment security, boosting donor confidence and encouraging ongoing support for the charity’s initiatives.

Bin Bayat stated that the charity aims to extend the smart screen network to more locations across the emirate, as part of its goal to promote digital transformation in charitable work and boost wider community involvement in humanitarian projects.

Encouraging donors to participate

The Vice Chairman encouraged donors to utilise this modern service, describing it as one of the quickest and safest ways to support the charity’s projects. He also commended the increasing trust in smart donation channels, which has helped to speed up humanitarian responses to various cases and initiatives undertaken by the charity.
