The tournament saw the participation of elite clubs and academies from across the UAE, including the Fujairah Combat Sports Club, Abu Dhabi Archery Club, D'Archers Club, and Mushrif Academy. Sharjah Women's Sports Club stood out for its disciplined performance and impressive results, reflecting the high level of preparedness of its players since the start of the season.
In the women's archery category, Snehal Devkar made a strong statement by winning the gold medal after a precise and balanced performance, followed by her teammate Fatima Al Balushi, who won the bronze medal after a spirited competition.
In the under-18 archery category, Samia Odneva continued her usual brilliance by snatching the gold medal, demonstrating her technical excellence and mental fortitude. Muna Al Sharaa distinguished herself with her balanced performance, winning the silver medal.
In the under-21 compound archery category, the club's players continued their excellence, with Sara Al Mazmi achieving a golden presence by taking first place, while Maitha Al Nuaimi demonstrated great focus and confidence to deservedly snatch the silver medal.
On the team level, the club strengthened its presence on the podium by winning the gold medal in the mixed archery team category, thanks to the brilliance of the trio Snehal Devkar, Hessa Al Awadhi, and Fatima Al Balushi. The team of Samia Odneva, Muna Al Sharaa, and Marwa Al Serkal also won the bronze medal in the under-18 category, reaffirming the club's competitive readiness and strength in all categories.
At the conclusion of the competition, Mai Al Ameri, Deputy Director of Sharjah Women's Sports, who attended the competitions and encouraged the players, expressed her pride in the level of performance demonstrated by the participants during the tournament. She emphasised that the performance witnessed during the competitions "embodies the spirit of organised work within the club and reflects the ongoing investment in developing and qualifying the players according to the highest professional standards."
Al Ameri added, "This strong start puts us on a promising path for a season full of achievements and reflects the club's commitment to providing an integrated sporting environment that enables players to compete with confidence and excellence at the local and international levels."
The tournament results reflect the club's growing progress in archery and reinforce its ongoing commitment to preparing qualified female players to represent the UAE in national and international competitions with confidence and competence.
