Shabab Al Ahli, Al Nasr, Al Hamriyah top Cycling League opener

Sharjah 24: The first race of the local track cycling league, organised by the UAE Cycling Federation at the Zayed International Track in Sharjah, saw strong performances from Shabab Al Ahli, Al Nasr, and Al Hamriyah clubs. A total of 29 players from seven clubs participated.

Results in Adult and Youth Categories

In the 10 km Scratch race for adults, Shabab Al Ahli dominated with Mohammed Al Alili securing first place, his teammate Khaled Mayouf finishing second, and Rashid Abdullah from Dubai Club taking third.

In the 7.5 km Scratch race for youth, Abdullah Ibrahim from Al Hamriyah Club won first place, followed by Yousef Badr of Al Nasr Club and Khalifa Khamis from Khorfakkan Club in third.

Elimination races highlights

In the adult elimination category, Saif Al Kaabi of Shabab Al Ahli took first place, followed by Mohammed Youssef from Dubai Club and Mohammed Al Alili from Shabab Al Ahli in third.

The youth elimination race was won by Youssef Badr from Al Nasr Club, with Abdullah Ibrahim from Al Hamriyah Club in second and Saif Mohammed from Sharjah Club in third.
