The opening event was attended by Abdullah Khalifa Yarouf Al Sabousi, Chairman of the Department of Islamic Affairs, along with the mosque's generous donor, various officials, and local community members. Attendees participated in the noon prayer and had a chance to explore the mosque's facilities while learning about its design and construction.
The mosque is built on a large piece of land, about 6,120 square meters in size. Inside, there’s a prayer hall that can hold 500 worshippers, with space for 50 women, as well as an outdoor area that can accommodate another 500 people. The mosque is equipped with essential services like washing areas, restrooms for both genders, parking, and a comfortable residence for the imam.
The design of the mosque beautifully blends traditional Islamic architecture with modern elements, featuring a tall 27-meter minaret and a grand central dome. It reflects the unique beauty of mosques in Sharjah and has been built following high standards for quality and environmental care.
