This strategic participation reflects SCCI’s commitment to supporting local food businesses by increasing their global visibility, enhancing competitiveness in international markets, and introducing them to the latest food trends and innovations that drive export growth and long-term success.
The Sharjah Chamber was represented through a collective platform that brought together top food manufacturing and trading companies from the emirate. The delegation included Ali Abdullah Al Jari, Director of SEDC, and Maha Mansour Al Zarouni, Senior Exhibitions Executive.
The initiative aimed to attract foreign investment into Sharjah’s food sector and strengthen its position as a regional hub for food production and innovation. It also supports the development of high-quality, globally competitive products that contribute to international food security.
Al Jari emphasised that SCCI’s presence at Anuga reinforces efforts to expand the global footprint of UAE-based food companies.
“The exhibition offers a powerful platform to showcase national products and discover the latest supply chain innovations,” he noted.
He added that the event also helps local businesses align with global trends in health-conscious, organic, and plant-based food production—ensuring ongoing competitiveness and sustainable growth in the sector.
