SCDA continues inspections of auto parts warehouses

Inspections include verifying the readiness of alarm and fire-fighting systems, the integrity of electrical wiring, and proper storage methods for flammable materials. They also provide guidance to warehouse workers on best practices and preventive measures to be followed.

Brigadier General Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, emphasized that the authority is committed to continuous inspection and ensuring the effectiveness of preventive systems, which contributes to reducing potential risks and enhancing the safety of lives and property.

The Authority has been pointed out to continue developing its oversight tools and field mechanisms using the latest technologies.

The Authority works to promote the concept of "sustainable safety" by developing updated legislation and implementing smart solutions that enable accurate monitoring of safety levels in warehouses and industrial zones. This contributes to building a knowledgeable and qualified environment capable of anticipating and avoiding risks, while enhancing community confidence in the emirate's preventive system.

The Authority also seeks to leverage the results of these visits to develop its training and awareness programs. Field observations are analyzed and transformed into practical topics in the workshops and seminars it organizes throughout the year.
