UAE to compete in Asian Youth Games in Bahrain

Sharjah 24: Three athletes will represent the UAE at the upcoming Asian Youth Games, which will take place in Bahrain from October 22 to 31, with the participation of 5,000 athletes from 45 Asian countries. The event will include 24 sports and 253 events, featuring competitions for both men and women.

UAE Triathlon Federation announces squad

The UAE Triathlon Federation has officially announced the selection of Ali Al Kaabi, Matthew Green, and Dexter Button to represent the nation in the triathlon events. The team will be led by national coach Mohsen Al Ali.

Final preparations underway

To prepare for the competition, the UAE triathlon team will conduct an internal training camp in Abu Dhabi, prior to their departure to Bahrain on October 21.

Arab-African Championship: A key tune-up event

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Triathlon Federation confirmed its participation in the upcoming Arab-African Championship, set to take place in El Galala, Egypt, on September 25, as part of their preparation for the Asian Youth Games.
