With participation from leaders and representatives of Gulf, Arab, and Islamic states and organisations, the summits convened to address the Israeli aggression against Qatar’s territory.
The UAE delegation consisted of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Minister of State; and Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State.
During the Emergency Arab‑Islamic Summit, the UAE declared its full support for Qatar in confronting the “treacherous” Israeli aggression against its territory. It stressed the importance of upholding international law, state sovereignty, and solidarity among Arab and Islamic countries, asserting that Qatar is not alone.
Highlighting the Israeli bombardment of Doha on September 9 as a violation of international law and sovereignty, the UAE condemned the act in the strongest terms and expressed condolences over Qatar’s losses. It emphasised that Israel’s continued aggression, including threats of annexation, undermines stability and peace.
The UAE urged the international community—especially the UN Security Council—to act decisively to deter further attacks and preserve regional peace. It affirmed that GCC security is indivisible and expressed firm solidarity with Qatar, as well as hope for de‑escalation and lasting calm.
In closing, the UAE expressed gratitude to all involved in organising the summit. It voiced hope for overcoming the region’s current challenges and restoring security, peace, and stability for all.
