UAE wins 3 medals at Arab Table Tennis Championship in Morocco

Sharjah 24: The UAE national table tennis team clinched the U-13 Junior Cup at the 36th edition of the Arab Table Tennis Championship, hosted in Casablanca, Morocco, with participation from top Arab players. The UAE team, featuring Nasser Al Marri, Mohammed Saeed, and Rashid Saeed, triumphed over Saudi Arabia 3-2 in a thrilling final to secure the gold medal.

Silver for UAE U-17 team

The UAE U-17 team earned the silver medal after finishing second in the team competition. The team, comprising Ali Al Hawai, Hamad Al Hashemi, and Ahmed Saeed, fell 3-0 to Saudi Arabia in the final match.

Bronze for U-15 team

In the U-15 team competition, the UAE secured the bronze medal. The team included Ahmed Saeed, Yousef Al Hawai, and Mohammed Saeed, who put on a strong performance throughout the tournament.

UAE Table Tennis Federation celebrates success

Engineer Dawood Al Hajri, President of the UAE Table Tennis Federation, praised the delegation led by Secretary-General Hassan Al Zarouni and congratulated the players for their outstanding efforts. He emphasized that these achievements mark a fresh chapter for Emirati table tennis, especially with the return to Arab Championship participation. He also urged continued focus for the upcoming doubles competitions.
