Dr Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi highlighted that the impact of storytelling is often gradual and delayed, whether constructive or otherwise. Speaking at the IGCF session, he urged educators to adopt intentional storytelling methods that align with their educational responsibilities.
In remarks to Sharjah 24, Dr Al Kaabi explained that building awareness within the educational process often begins with a simple story, phrase, proverb, or action that resonates on a personal level. While its influence may not be immediate, it can eventually lead to a major shift in a learner’s perspective or life path. For this reason, he emphasised that educators must carefully craft their messages and integrate them into educational practices that enrich learning outcomes and reinforce core values.
It’s worth noting that the International Government Communication Forum, organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, hosts an array of expert-led sessions and workshops focused on sectors such as education, health, sustainability, the green economy, and food security — offering a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and showcasing global best practices.
