Sharjah 24: "Aman Ya Biladi" ( My homeland,… be safe) is back for its 2025–2026 broadcasting cycle with a revised format. With the help of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority and the Security Media Department, the Sharjah Police (SP) General Headquarters produce and present the show, which has a double objective: raising public awareness about security issues and encouraging a safety culture. Sharjah Radio airs it weekly on Mondays from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

A direct link with the community

Colonel Dr Mohammed bin Butti Al Hajri, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, emphasised that "Aman Ya Biladi" represents one of the police force's prominent community projects. He said it is a wonderful way to have an open conversation with the people, address social and security issues in an unbiased way, and communicate directly with the public. The program's creative awareness messaging bolsters public safety and enhances the quality of life in the emirate.

Prominent speakers and esteemed guests

Officers from the Security Media Department, who have extensive field knowledge, are in a prime position to interact with the public and provide honest answers to their questions, as pointed out by Colonel Dr Mohammed bin Butti Al Hajri. To address societal concerns and strengthen security and stability in Sharjah, it also accommodates professionals, experts, and officials from different community and police authorities.

Institutional partnership

The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority has been vital in supporting the Sharjah Police's media message, and its representatives are also keen to highlight the organization's efforts to bring attention to important issues by airing purposeful shows. He stressed that the collaboration shows a solid institutional relationship and a shared dedication to providing trustworthy media material that benefits stability, security, and quality of life.

Sharjah media's viewpoint

Cooperation with Sharjah Police in presenting "Aman Ya Biladi" demonstrates the radio station's role as a prominent media platform in community service, according to Sharjah Radio Director Amal Al Owais. She elaborated to say that the show adds quality content to the new broadcasting cycle, addresses social and security issues in a way that the public can relate to, and allows for direct engagement that helps Sharjah Radio be a better link between the community and local institutions.
