The signing ceremony took place at the SFD headquarters in Sharjah and was attended by Waleed Al Sayegh, Director General of SFD, and Yousuf Al Marshoudi, General Manager of the Fujairah Charity Association, in the presence of Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of SFD, along with senior officials from both entities.
This project forms part of the SFD’s strategic initiatives aligned with the Sharjah Government’s vision to advance digital transformation and enhance the quality of financial services. The “Tahseel” system provides a comprehensive and integrated framework that supports every aspect of financial operations, enabling highly efficient payment management, seamless integration with approved financial systems, and the generation of accurate, real-time financial and statistical reports — all within a secure and trusted digital environment that adheres to the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Commenting on the agreement, Waleed Al Sayegh, Director General of SFD, said: “Activating the ‘Tahseel’ system at the Fujairah Charity Association marks a strategic milestone that highlights the system’s flexibility and capability to meet the diverse needs of entities beyond Sharjah, whether charitable, governmental, or service-oriented. This partnership reinforces ‘Tahseel’ as one of the UAE’s leading digital payment solutions, enabling the creation of an advanced and intelligent financial ecosystem that adapts to evolving needs while enhancing the efficiency of both government and charitable services.”
He added that this project aligns with the SFD’s commitment to innovative financial solutions that support the government’s drive toward strengthening the digital economy. He also praised the Fujairah Charity Association for its role in promoting transparency and embracing digital transformation in managing donations and financial aid.
For his part, Yousuf Al Marshoudi, General Manager of the Fujairah Charity Association, praised the SFD’s efforts to enhance digital governance and drive innovation in financial services across the UAE. He highlighted the association’s commitment to adopting advanced digital solutions to boost operational efficiency, improve the donor and beneficiary experience, and achieve the highest standards of compliance and financial transparency.
Al Marshoudi added: “Through the ‘Tahseel’ system, donors and beneficiaries now have access to 31 key services, including seamless contributions to a wide range of charitable initiatives such as endowments, mosque construction, ongoing charity, Iftar programs, water supply, orphan sponsorships, Eid clothing, Zakat payments, and financial assistance for patients, students, people of determination, and low-income families.”
