Al Khalidiyah Council visits Sharjah Police Headquarters

Sharjah 24: Sharjah 24: Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, welcomed a delegation from the Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council to the Police Headquarters. The delegation was led by Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of the Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, and included Mohammed Rashid bin Jarsh, Vice Chairman; Khamis Ali Al Humairi, Council Member; Imran Mohammed Al Hammadi, Head of Suburb Affairs; Abdulaziz Khalid Al Abdouli, Council Officer; and Hamed Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Council Administrator, along with several senior Sharjah Police officers and officials.

Financial contribution for inmate release

During the meeting, the Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council handed over a cheque for AED 1,106,098 as a financial contribution to the release of 28 bankrupt detainees from the Punitive and Correctional Establishments. The initiative aims to bring joy to their families and reflects the council's ongoing humanitarian and social commitment to the neighbourhood.

Praise for humanitarian efforts

Major General Abdullah bin Amer lauded the council's community participation and social projects, describing the contribution as a noble humanitarian effort that alleviates the suffering of those affected.

Council highlights collaboration and commitment

Khalfan Saeed Al Marri praised the council’s close collaboration with Sharjah Police, thanking Major General bin Amer for his warm reception and ongoing support. He emphasized the council's commitment to upholding the caring and compassionate values that define Sharjah, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
