Young talents enrich Khor Fakkan's sports summer

Sharjah24: Dr. Saif Ahmed Al Zaabi, Head of the Organising Committee for the Sharjah Sports Summer Program at Khor Fakkan Cultural and Sports Club, announced that 250 participants from youth and junior age groups are actively engaging in the "Our Distinguished Holiday" program. The summer events combine enthusiasm and learning through a range of carefully designed educational and recreational activities running from 30 June to 31 July at the club.

Speaking to ”Sharjah 24”, Dr Al Zaabi noted the five-week programme is run by four specialised committees to ensure quality and tangible outcomes. A key highlight of the programme is the launch of “Rased”, a new system that monitors trainees’ participation and progress in workshops and sports activities while also sending regular reports to parents about their children’s development and interests.

Al Zaabi emphasised that "Rased" signifies a significant improvement in performance monitoring. Participants benefit from a mix of activities, including sports skills, knowledge camps, and entertainment sessions aimed at fostering team spirit, discipline, and creativity. The committees are also responsible for workshop execution, safety standards, and performance evaluation.
