Sharjah24: The Sharjah Kalba Dressage Championship began today along the picturesque shores of Kalba Beach, marking the sixth edition of the Sharjah Kalba Arabian Horse Festival, organized by the Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club.
Sultan Mohammed Al Yahyai, Director General of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, announced that the championship is part of the festival's events, which commenced with the international three-star showjumping competition. The event featured 160 horses from 28 countries across the globe.
Al Yahyai noted that the dressage championship showcased approximately 50 horses. He also announced that the Arabian Horse Beauty Championship, the festival's concluding event, will take place from 13 to 15 December. Approximately 300 Arabian horses aged between one and three years will participate in this competition.
