Sharjah24: Zainab Jassim Al-Sajwani, Head of the Media Department at Sharjah Fish Resources Authority (SFRA), announced the organisation of a cleaning campaign at Dibba Al-Hisn Port in cooperation with the Dibba Al-Hisn Cooperative Society for Fishermen. The initiative involved 50 divers as well as volunteers from various sectors of the community, aiming to promote social responsibility and enhance the culture of volunteering among residents.
SFRA organised a campaign to clean the seabed of Dibba Al-Hisn Port from waste, featuring the participation of 50 divers alongside community members. The event was attended by Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazin, Chairman of Sharjah Fish Resources Authority (SFRA), staff members, and the president and members of the Dibba Al-Hisn Cooperative Society for Fishermen, along with several officials and residents of Dibba Al-Hisn.
Zainab Jassim Al-Sajwani stated that the cleaning campaign is the first of its kind, aimed at instilling a sense of social responsibility, fostering a culture of volunteering, and preserving the marine environment.
Al-Sajwani added in statements to "Sharjah 24" that the cleaning campaign was accompanied by various activities, entertainment segments, and educational workshops for children organised by Sharjah Children, organisation affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators , which promote marine culture.
