Sharjah24: The Rubu' Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators is excited to announce its first summer event, "Let’s Summer 2025," running from June 30 to August 31. This initiative will involve four of its key organizations: Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah Capability Development. They will also collaborate with specialized centers focusing on skills, performing arts, science, technology, and music.

This summer program is designed for participants aged 6 and up, providing a lively and safe environment where they can learn, explore, have fun, and feel empowered. The aim is to help shape future generations who are knowledgeable and influential, aligning with Rubu' Qarn's commitment to community support and development.

Strategic approach

According to Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, the Director General of Rubu' Qarn, this year’s summer activities highlight a fresh vision for developing the people of Sharjah. The focus is on nurturing character through science, culture, and the arts, ensuring that participants gain the skills needed for the future while embracing Emirati values. This approach is intended to prepare them to contribute positively to Sharjah's reputation as a global leader in innovation.

“Let’s Summer” aims to deliver an enriching summer experience that broadens knowledge, sharpens skills, and sparks creativity. Collaborating with various local government organizations, community groups, and the private sector, this initiative strives to engage children and youth in meaningful activities that benefit the community and inspire their future.

Quality programs

The activities include a variety of engaging programs and interactive workshops tailored to different age groups. For children aged 6 to 12, Sharjah Children offers exciting programs in theater, literature, arts, science, and sports that encourage exploration and learning through fun.

For teens aged 13 to 18, Sharjah Youth has a range of foundational programs including beach adventures, cultural tours, sports competitions, and creative activities. They’re also introducing a skills lab at several locations where young people can learn in a lively environment.

Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah is also working with young women aged 13 to 18, providing educational experiences that cover areas like first aid, baking, comic creation, and design, along with activities that boost confidence and creativity.

For young adults aged 19 and above, Sharjah Capability Development offers a wide variety of programs that encourage creative thinking, support personal development, and prepare participants to make a meaningful impact on their careers and communities. social futures.
