Salem Al-Doubi warns of dangers of drugs

Sharjah24: Sheikh Salem Al-Doubi, head of the Preaching and Fatwa Section at the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah , emphasised that Islamic Sharia strictly prohibits drugs to protect the five essential necessities in Islam: religion, intellect, honour, life, and wealth. He noted that the harm caused by drugs threatens all of these vital aspects.

Global Day Message

Speaking to “Sharjah24” on the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse, held this year under the slogan “An Aware Family… A Safe Society,” Sheikh Salem Al-Doubi described drugs as highly destructive, affecting the mind, damaging health, and tearing families apart. Emphasising the broader societal impact, he urged people to approach the issue with wisdom and awareness, affirming that staying away from drugs is the key to safety and true success.
