Sharjah24: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, Her Excellency Dr Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, the UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, attended the graduation ceremony of 149 students from the “Class of 2025” at Emirates National Schools (ENS) in the Sharjah campus.

Leading educational model

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Hameeri, Secretary-General of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Emirates National Schools, affirmed that the support of Sheikh Mansour has enabled the schools to become a leading educational model, helping raise a generation that is proud of its identity and capable of keeping pace with scientific and academic progress.

Exceptional learning environment

He pointed to the qualitative development of the schools, highlighting their consistent academic and social growth. Emirates National Schools have succeeded in providing an outstanding learning environment by attracting academic and administrative staff from across the globe, investing in advanced facilities and infrastructure, and strengthening partnerships with parents and community institutions.

Encouraging graduates

Al Hameeri expressed pride in the achievements of the graduating class from the Sharjah campus and encouraged them to continue their path towards excellence and success in support of the nation’s comprehensive development.

Leadership’s commitment to youth

Dr Amina Al Dahak congratulated the students, describing each one as a valuable investment in the journey of shaping the UAE’s future.

She expressed her pleasure at participating in the ceremony, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, affirming that it reflects the leadership’s firm belief in empowering young national talents and providing them with knowledge and innovation to contribute to the UAE’s development goals.

Message to graduates

Addressing the graduates, Al Dahak described them as the heroes of the next chapter in the nation's progress. She expressed confidence in their ability to carry forward the UAE’s vision and to contribute meaningfully to building a sustainable future. She urged them to embrace environmental responsibility and to become ambassadors of innovation and sustainability, guiding future generations along the path of progress.

Largest graduating cohort

Lachlan MacKinnon, Director General of Emirates National Schools, welcomed guests to the ceremony and noted that the 2025 graduating class is the largest in the schools’ history, comprising students from campuses in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah. Since their founding, the schools have produced thousands of graduates who now serve across various sectors in the nation.

New chapter of service

Graduate Hamad Mohammed bin Huraimel, speaking on behalf of his fellow students, drove home the importance of this milestone and expressed their collective readiness to begin a new chapter of service to the nation, equipped with knowledge and determination.

Ceremony honours and closings

Dr Amina Al Dahak honoured the graduates during the ceremony, received a commemorative gift from the schools, and participated in a group photograph alongside members of the board and the graduating class.

Sharjah campus

The Sharjah campus was inaugurated in September 2015 and is fully licensed as an International Baccalaureate (IB) school across all levels. It currently serves thousands of students from pre-kindergarten to grade twelve and has graduated several cohorts. The campus is known for its active participation in educational, artistic, and sports events and has received several awards in academic and extracurricular fields.
