SP shares operations centre's best practices with Dubai

Sharjah 24: Brigadier General Dr Jasim Mohammed bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director General of Operations and Security Support at Sharjah Police (SP), met with a delegation from Dubai Police as part of ongoing collaboration, knowledge exchange, and benchmarking efforts among UAE police commands.

Best Practices

The mission was led by Brigadier General Mohammed Abdullah Thani Al Muhairi, Director of the Command and Control Centre, and included other professional officers. The purpose of the tour was to learn about the best practices being implemented at Sharjah's Operations Centre.

Collaboration

Brigadier General Dr Jasim bin Hadda Al Suwaidi began the conference by welcoming the visiting delegation and praised the two sides' high degree of collaboration in various disciplines. He stated that the visit represents a shared commitment to promoting institutional excellence, exchanging knowledge, and exploring advanced experiences in operations management and security readiness.

Smart Systems

The delegation was briefed about the smart systems implemented at the 999 and 901 contact centres, as well as the simulation rooms and incident management facilities. The visit included a presentation on essential technologies for improving field preparation and emergency response efficiency. Several creative initiatives were also shown, with the goal of improving the work environment and the general performance of the policing system.
