FNC strengthens diplomatic bridges with C. American Parliament

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Maryam bin Theneya, Second Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) and President of the Women’s Parliamentary Forum (WPF) of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), met with Carlos René Hernández, President of the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), to discuss enhancing parliamentary cooperation.

Meeting held on sidelines of Marrakech Forum

The meeting took place during the 3rd Marrakech Parliamentary Economic Forum for the Euro-Mediterranean and Gulf regions, held in the Kingdom of Morocco. Several members of the FNC also attended the session.

Focus on cooperation and shared interests

Discussions centered on strengthening inter-parliamentary collaboration, with both sides highlighting the value of coordination and consultation in parliamentary forums. The aim is to address issues of mutual concern and deepen ties between the FNC and PARLACEN.
