The two-week programme focuses on enhancing the personal and professional capabilities of graduates through a series of training workshops and interactive lectures that encompass economic, technical, social, and psychological aspects. Key activities include a "Financial Literacy" workshop in collaboration with the Nama Foundation, and a workshop on LinkedIn resume writing and using AI tools like ChatGPT, led by Dr. Nadine Samra.
The programme also features a "Presentation Skills" workshop supervised by trainer Reem Masoud, and a lecture on "Emotional Management and Building Trust" by Dr. Shaafi Al-Neyadi, in cooperation with the Family Development Administration. Additionally, the "Happy Homes" event focuses on preparing for family life and building stability.
Participants can expect motivational lectures, including "Role Model" to inspire a spirit of challenge, and various recreational activities such as "Fun Sports Day," "Memories Workshop," and "Achievement Planting," which coincide with the graduation gown distribution. The programme includes a "Life Impact" event in collaboration with Al Qasimi Hospital for health awareness, as well as creative workshops like color coordination, jewelry making at the Islamic History Museum, a "Treasure Hunt" at the Archaeological Museum, and concludes with a flower arrangement workshop.
Ahlam Bin Gharsh, Assistant Director of the University for Female Students, stated that the "Life Compass" programme is a key initiative that reflects Al Qasimia University's ongoing commitment to empowering female students and preparing them for a confident transition into professional and community life. She emphasized that the programme is a comprehensive series of training workshops and guiding events designed to align with a pivotal phase in graduates' lives, leaving a lasting impact on their personal and professional journeys.
