MOE hosts meeting on stage three updates

Sharjah24: Dr Huda Hassan Al Naqbi, Director of Student Affairs at University of Khorfakkan , emphasised the university's commitment to hosting and organising events related to updates in general and higher education pathways. This initiative aims to achieve a cohesive vision and keep pace with development.

Purpose of the meeting

In her remarks, Dr Al Naqbi stated that the university hosted a coordination meeting organised by the Ministry of Education to inform parents about the key updates to Stage Three education pathways. The meeting was attended by Professor Ali Hilal Al-Naqbi, the university director, along with several department directors from both sides, students, and parents.

Key updates discussed

The meeting included a detailed explanation of the recent updates to educational pathways aligned with students’ future aspirations, supporting their educational journey in line with labor market transformations. Recent updates revealed that curricula would be tailored to ensure students in the general pathway receive foundational knowledge in scientific subjects, while advanced materials will focus on advanced sciences for students in the advanced pathway, preparing them for university-level scientific studies.

Enhancing knowledge and decision-making

Dr Al Naqbi affirmed that such meetings enhance the knowledge of students and parents regarding educational prospects, enabling them to identify their interests and make informed decisions about their educational paths in line with their ambitions and aspirations.
