Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police (SP), represented by the Comprehensive Police Stations Department and the Security Media Department, has launched an awareness campaign called "Safe Construction Environment" in partnership with Sharjah Municipality and the Sharjah Economic Development Department. The campaign, which runs until November of next year, aims to increase awareness about the causes of construction site thefts, highlight risky behaviours, and encourage preventive measures, all in accordance with SP's objective to improve safety and stability throughout the emirate.
Sharjah Police and its strategic partners urge building owners, contractors, and project developers to collaborate with authorities and follow preventive measures to reduce risky behaviours that could lead to theft at construction sites.

They also underlined the significance of installing surveillance cameras, hiring security guards, and erecting temporary fences or barriers around project sites during construction. Furthermore, they advocated obtaining building materials solely from accredited vendors using valid invoices or receipts to prevent legal liability in cases involving illegally sourced goods.
