SDAD elects Al Riqa and Al Fraish councils’ vice chairpersons

Sharjah 24: Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and Chairman of Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD), and Dr. Abdullah Sulaiman Al Kabouri, Director of SDAD, held on Wednesday separate meetings with Al Riqa Council and Al Fraish Council, appreciating His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, trust in forming the two councils and assigning their members to carry out their duties in serving the community.

Al Riqa Council, headed by Humaid Mohammed Al Omrani Al Shamsi, includes Ammar Salem Al Quti Al Nuaimi, Ali Sharif Al Hawai, Maid Khalaf Salem Al Owais, Mohammed Khalfan Harimel Al Shamsi, Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Nuaimi, Rafia Rashid Ghanem Idris Al Shamsi, and Fatima Khalfan Obaid Busarih Al Alili.

Al Fraish Council in Kalba, headed by Dr. Khalid Saif Mattar Al Zaabi, includes Khalid Obaid Musa Al Kaabi, Sultan Suhail Hamdan Al Zaabi, Saeed Mohammed Saeed Juma Al Ghamri, Abdulrahman Ibrahim Hassan Al Darmaki, Fahad Abdullah Al Laghai Al Naqbi, Moza Abdullah Mohammed Handhal Al Naqbi, and Moza Abdullah Mattar Al Zaabi.

Selection of the vice chairperson

Pursuant to the provisions of the Emiri Decree stipulating the selection of a vice chairperson from among the members, elections for the position of vice chairperson were held during the two meetings through secret ballot.

Ammar Salem Al Qati Al Nuaimi won the position of vice chairperson of Al Riqa Council, while Moza Abdullah Al Zaabi won the position of vice chairperson of Al Fraish Council.
