Sharjah 24: Sharjah Old Cars Club (SOCC) held a ceremony to honour a group of outstanding employees who received the "Employee Excellence Award". The event was attended by Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, and Dr Ali Ahmed Abu Al Zoud, Chairman of the Board of Sharjah Old Cars Club, alongside board members and staff. The initiative is part of the club’s strategic approach to embed a culture of excellence and strengthen the institutional work environment.

The purpose and scope of the award

Launched last year, the award reflects the club’s commitment to building a strong foundation of high-performing professionals and investing in their development. It seeks to support institutional goals and future initiatives by recognising achievements across various areas of work and encouraging continued creativity and excellence through a positive spirit of competition among all employees.

Winners and award categories

The recognition covered four key categories. In the executive category, Aisha Yousif Al Qassab Al Baloushi came first, followed by Huda Thani in second place, and Ameera Salem Al Mazmi in third. The Customer Happiness category was awarded to Najla Mohammed Al Suwaidi. The Youth category went to Manal Abdullah Al Hosani. Mustafa Wahba received the award in the Assistant Technicians category.

This award acknowledged their distinguished contributions to enhancing the work environment and fostering a culture of institutional performance within the club. The winners and their teams serve as role models within the workplace, viewed as examples of professional conduct and capability. All participants also received detailed evaluation reports outlining their strengths and areas for improvement, supporting their career development and future potential.

Dr Ali Ahmed Abou El Zoud, Chairman of the Board of Sharjah Old Car Club, stated that the Employee Excellence Award is a significant step in the club’s journey to develop qualified individuals capable of representing the organisation in excellence programs at both local and international levels.

It also supports the club’s efforts to submit competitive nominations for honorary awards. He added that the variety and inclusiveness of the award’s categories aim to empower human resources and direct their energy towards sustainable institutional performance that reflects the club’s ambitions and aligns with its vision. This celebration marks the culmination of dedication and commitment and represents a renewed step towards creating a motivating work environment that nurtures innovation and recognises success, affirming the club’s position as a pioneering institution that bridges heritage and professionalism.
