Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club celebrates 10th anniversary

Sharjah24: Engineer Hanadi Al Kabouri, Executive Director of the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club, announced that the club is organising a celebration marking its 10th anniversary under the slogan "A Decade of Passion and Achievements." Over the past decade, the club has achieved notable success at both international and local levels, earning 7,800 medals and numerous awards.

Anniversary Celebration Held

In the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Sheraton Hotel in Sharjah. The event was attended by numerous officials, members of the club’s board of directors, and players.

Major Achievements Highlighted

Engineer Hanadi Al Kabouri noted that over its 10-year journey, the club has achieved remarkable milestones at both international and local levels. It has earned a total of 7,800 medals and numerous awards in various sports, including taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, karate, mixed martial arts, judo, and wrestling.

Commitment to Excellence

Al Kabouri told "Sharjah24" that the club is dedicated to maintaining its excellence and leadership in self-defense sports, with the goal of proudly raising the UAE flag at international competitions.
