This came during competitions held in Abu Dhabi.
Al Wasl won the senior title with a total of 10 medals (8 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze), while the SWS Club took the women’s title with 7 medals (4 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze).
The championship was held over three days in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 712 male and female athletes. The events included a variety of races, jumps, throws, and relays.
Abu Dhabi Club secured the boys’ cubs category with 5 gold medals, while Al Nasr won both the youth and junior categories, collecting 6 gold medals in each. SWS Club topped the girls’ cubs category with 9 gold medals, while Abu Dhabi Club took the girls’ youth and junior titles with 3 and 6 gold medals respectively.
The competition and award ceremony were attended by Major General Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Murr, President of the UAE Athletics Federation, Suhail Al Arifi, and Ahmed Al Musabi from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Al Murr confirmed that the championship concluded a successful season that contributed to the development of athletes’ performance, praising the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Military Sports Division.
